Contribution to Improve Magnetic Performance and Torque Ripple Reduction of the Low-Speed DSPM Machine

This article deals with the performance improvement of a toothed pole variable reluctance machine excited by permanent magnets housed in stator yoke. The objective was to reduce electromagnetic torque ripples caused structure geometry and supply technique. designed meet specifications small wind energy conversion system. proposed solution improved design new order minimize variation reluctance. obtained action on (the location magnets), rotor tooth pitch, application an indirect control strategy called sharing function. PSO optimization algorithm applied first part for machine’s global parameters maximize density then, second part, research optimum pitch ripple.
